End of the Guet N’Dar Feasibility Study in Senegal
GRET conducted a feasibility study for the creation of a sanitation system in the Guet N’Dar settlement in Saint Louis of Senegal. A first diagnostic phase examined the institutional framework, physical and social milieus and sanitation sector actors in the settlement. This diagnostic then made it possible to elaborate scenarios to define a wastewater and excreta evacuation and treatment service for this settlement, reputed to be the most densely populated settlement of Senegal. This study should also make it possible to set up a sanitation system in 2013.
