GRET Launching Nutrition Activities in Myanmar
As part of a consortium with ACF and WHH, GRET officially launched a nutrition project in Myanmar in March 2012. For 40 months, this project will design, implement and assess innovative approaches to fighting malnutrition on a pilot scale. With public and private partners, a nutrition education strategy and a strategy to improve and distribute a locally-produced food for young children will be tested. This Burmese component of the NutriDev program will be conducted in urban (Yangon) and rural (Dry Zone) areas.
