The French Ambassador to Vietnam Visits GRET’s Synergies Project
Taking advantage of a visit to the Vinh Phuc People’s Committee on May 17, Jean-François Girault, French Ambassador to Vietnam, and his delegation visited the Synergies project. The embassy delegation attended the ceremony marking the start of operations by the environmental protection group in the commune of Hoang Hoa, Tam Duong District, and visited a poultry farming household that is a beneficiary of the project. The microproject presented should raise inhabitants’ awareness of environmental protection and set up a model system to process waste from stock farming. This microproject is being implemented by the Song Hong Center, one of GRET’s partners in the Synergies project (Support Young NGO Networks to Empower Rural Groups to Integrate Environment in Society).
