On 18 April last, Groupe initiatives, of which GRET is a member, signed a partnership agreement with Expertise France. This partnership aims to promote a balanced and mutually beneficial relationship between the two organisations, in order to strengthen the overall effectiveness of their international technical cooperation actions for development and international solidarity.
Sébastien Mosneron Dupin and Jean-Christophe Donnellier, respectively general manager and president of Expertise France’s management board, welcomed this first partnership between civil society representatives, which will make it possible to pool skills and develop common projects.
Pierre Jacquemot, chairperson of Groupe initiatives and of GRET, and Marie-Jo Demante, vice-chairperson of Groupe initiatives and director of the Institute for research and application of development methods (Iram), expressed their appreciation for this collaboration, which promotes the expertise and professionalism of civil society organisations.
This partnership will notably enable Expertise France and Groupe initiatives to strengthen their operational cooperation in the areas of governance, sustainable development, agriculture & cities, and health & human development. It will also make it possible to promote together the added value of civil society organisations’ technical expertise.
