In Burkina Faso in 2012, GRET was particularly active in the field of land tenure, launching a project to support the land allocation process within the Di irrigation perimeter and holding a sub-regional conference on the accomplishments of the Negos project. The activities combating malnutrition were also stepped up in urban and periurban areas.

GRET’s staff in Burkina Faso is composed of 42 people: one salaried expatriate, two international solidarity volunteers, and 39 national staff. Six people are assigned to the branch office, and 36 work on four projects. Part of the team is based in Ouagadougou, and part in the provinces of Gnagna and Gourma.
