Techniques and methods evolve rapidly in rural hydraulics. Ten years after “La maîtrise des crues dans les bas-fonds” was published, it was deemed necessary to overhaul the handbook. GRET and ETSHER analysed and documented lowland development knowledge and know-how, in collaboration with numerous project teams and researchers. The work took stock of farmers’ lowland exploitation logics, intervention approaches, and technical development models and standards. Editions du Gret published this work in 1998. |
