In rural Africa, the demand for “papers” to secure land rights is not limited to land titles. Farmers are using writing more and more in land transactions. These practices are, however, still poorly known. To advance reflection on land tenure security, GRET and IED are coordinating an inventory of farmers’ practices.

The PAFAARC Project is part of continuous support provided to the Royal University of Cambodia since 1991. Its goal is increasing professionalism in higher agricultural education. Its activities aim to strengthen the capabilities of the faculty and reform the curriculum, in particular through the introduction of practical courses and work courses in the farming milieu.
