Cicle, the international cooperation network on climate and energy, is organising a workshop entitled “Climate and development projects”, which will be held in Marseille on Friday 28 April from 9 am to 5 pm.
Juliette Darlu, Energy policy officer with GRET, Camille André, Development climate policy officer with Geres, and Cécile Bordier, Territories and climate policy officer with I4CE, will share their experience of integrating the climate constraint in development assistance projects.
This workshop will be an opportunity for participants to learn from practical experiences to reflect on the following issues:
- What is the difference between a “classic” development project and a “climate compatible” project?
- What tools to integrate the climate dimension in your projects?
These subjects will be followed by discussions on funding issues with a brief overview of existing funding schemes for inclusion in development projects of additional costs related to climate change.
