| GRET
is a member of several international solidarity groups: It is a member of the Groupe Initiatives (GI) which unites seven international solidarity associations with technical vocations. The Groupe Initiatives is itself a member of Coordination Sud which unites the ensemble of French international solidarity groups. It is also a very active member of the French International Solidarity Committee (CFSI), an operational platform where French international solidarity organisations, unions, professional organisations and territorial authorities meet to pool professional skills for common projects. GRET also belongs to various specialised international solidarity association groups (Groupe Urgence Développement, the European Union NGO Liaison Committee, the Study and Assessment Fund, Inter-Networks, etc.), and is a member of GCRAI's Consultative Group for International Agronomic Research NGO Committee. GRET has also signed agreements with different research and training or development establishments whose skills it mobilises for international solidarity projects: CIRAD, IRD, INRA, CNRS, CNEARC and several French universities (Paris I, Grenoble, Saint-Quentin, etc.). In France, GRET has chosen the Bergerie nationale in Rambouillet to build common programmes for sustainable development and short supply chain food-processing industry promotion. GRET, with INDE, (a Portuguese aid organisation specialised in local development), is a founding member of Confluência, a European economic interest group. |
