Launching a blog against discrimination in Burundi

The International Day against Homophobia held on May 17 in Bujumbura, Burundi, was an opportunity to officially launch the blog, made under the project to support organizations working for populations that are discriminated against because of their sexual orientation in the Great Lakes countries (PAFPD-GL). The blog aims to enable community members affected by discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity to access diversified information and contact one another through a forum. The blog also hosts a film produced in Burundi, which relates everyday life stories through a series of pictures and testimonials in the own words of the concerned citizens.
