The second session of the 2018 cycle* of the “Philanthropy, economy and politics” seminar will take place on 25 April. It will be devoted to presenting the results of a study recently conducted by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on foundations committed to “development”. This study examines some preconceived ideas, particularly the possibility for these stakeholders to replace international aid.
More information will be available shortly.
*This new cycle follows a series of seminars held in 2016 and 2017, exploring relations between philanthropic practices and the politico-economic system in which we live, the 2018 cycle will take place as part of a new collaboration between the Fondation de France and GRET.
