“Philanthropy, economics and politics” seminar

The 14/11/2018

The last session of the 2018 cycle of the “Philanthropy, economics and politics” seminar will take place on Wednesday 14 November from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Fondation de France, 40 avenue Hoche, 75008 Paris, France.

This concluding session on the relationships between philanthropy and capitalism will focus on the following subject: “Has philanthropy found a niche in our economic and political system?”

This 2018 cycle continues on from a series of seminars held from 2015 to 2017, exploring the relationships between philanthropic practices and the economic and political system in which we live. A book published after the first two cycles of the seminar is currently in pre-sales: “Can philanthropy change capitalism?” by Marc Lévy, former director of forward planning with GRET and organiser of the seminar.
