With a view to creating a dynamic around the various dimensions of agroecology in the Mekong region, Cirad, the Cambodian General directorate of agriculture (GDA) and GRET are organising the regional “Agroecology Futures” forum, which will take place from 6 to 8 November 2018 in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The forum will discuss the three following subjects:
- current dynamics in production, the food chain and agroecological innovations;
- enabling the environment to promote agroecological transition;
- supporting and bringing together regional networks and strategies to promote agroecology.
This forum will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about recent agroecological innovations and success stories, and to share their experiences. It is organised with financial support from Agence française de développement (AFD), and in partnership with Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) and Conservation Agriculture Network for Southeast Asia (CANSEA).
